Lütz & Hotel

Helen and Eddie, together with their team, welcome you to Hotel Sonnenblick (lit. Sun-view) and its beautiful surroundings in the tranquil village of Lütz.
Lütz is a resort and state-approved climatic health resort and is located in the Lütz-stream valley, an idyllic part of the Moselle side valley (approx. 3km from the Moselle river).
Our village is characterized by a number of beautiful half-timbered houses and Lütz was first mentioned in documents in the year 912. Our hotel is located at the end of the village, in a quiet area with beautiful views over the valley.

Our hotel has 19 rooms, all of them en-suite. We have a large, spacious terrace where you can truly relax after a day of motorcycling in this beautiful area! Our bar and indoor area offer a lot of space, comfort, and of course great music!

Meeting Point

For years Hotel Sonnenblick has been a well-known meeting place for many motorcyclists. We have put together great tours in the beautiful surroundings in which our hotel is located.
Highlights are Cochem on the Moselle river, the medieval Oberwesel on the Rhine river or the ‘curve eldorados’ of the Eifel, Hunsrück and Westerwald -they all can be experienced in day tours.

All our prices include breakfast and dinner! We all eat together in the evening (communal meal) and have a dish of the day. Of course there’s our famous barbecue on Saturdays!

Just enjoy, sit back, relax, eat together and chat. Our draught beers are Bitburger and Benedictine White, and of course we have local wines on the shelf!

Lütz-stream valley

Our village is located in the midst of beautiful surroundings on the Lütz-stream, an idyllic side valley of the Moselle river. From our sunny terrace in the outside area there’s a wonderful view of the “Lützer Switzerland”.

Prefer to hike? Is also possible! There are several local hiking routes with a total length of 35 km / 22 miles. From the hotel you can go straight into the forest and take beautiful walks with breathtaking views.

Spacious parking lot

You can park your motorcycle on our own property -our parking lot is partially covered. In the ‘unlikely’ event of a rainy day here, our hotel is equipped with a drying room for your (motorcycle) clothes.

We have a variety of tools for maintenance or small repairs for your motorcycle -and with our visor cleaner you’re set to go with a clear view!
